10 Day Celebrity Transformation Round 3 Day 8

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Saturday. This morning marked the end of 8 total days for me and I weighed in this morning at 199.2 lbs!!! I am THRILLED that I broke the 200 lb barrier because on April 26th I weighed in at 246 lbs! 47 lbs down, 3 to go to hit 50. How disgusting does that sound…I lost 50 lbs. That means I was carrying around 50 pounds of needless weight and putting a huge tax on my heart.

That’s how it happens; we wake up one day and realize that we have not been taking care of ourselves. We have not been living a healthy lifestyle and it is taking a toll on us physically and mentally. When you come to this realization you can do two things: you can do nothing and keep living this way until it puts you into an early grave, or you can make a change.

Making a Change

If you choose the latter like I did you need to make sure that you are 100% dedicated. The best way to stay dedicated is the following:

  • Set goals
  • Write them down
  • Come up with a plan to achieve your goals- find a coach
  • Take pictures and measurements
  • Start to execute your plan
  • Track your progress daily
  • Stick to the plan
  • By following these guidelines you are setting yourself up for success. Saying “I will start my diet on Monday” is weak. Its a cop out. If you had any intention of dieting you would start the second you decided you were going to do it and not “enjoy the weekend first”.

    In the last two months since I decided I was going to make a change, I have coached over a dozen people through a 10 Day Transformation. I want to pay it forward. I have a coach. I speak with him every day. When I first decided I was going to make a change I reached out to him and asked “what are you doing and how can I do the same thing as you are doing and achieve the same success?”. The best way to move forward with a decision to make a change is to listen to someone who has done what you want to do and follow their instruction because it works. The people that have come to me with the same question I had for my coach have done a great job of listening. They are following the protocol and seeing results. If you go into something you need to go in 100%. I can tell from the get go when someone starts with me if they are going to make it or not because its excuse after excuse and you are constantly trying to talk them off of a ledge. You cannot waiver in your intentions to succeed.

    Tomorrow is my last day on this current 10 Day Transformation and I will be available to take on 10 new people and coach them along their journey to make a change. This availability means I am there for you every day to answer questions, assist in any way possible, give advice, and help to keep you on track. If you listen and follow the program you will lose between 10-20 lbs in 10 days without exercise and you can eat three times per day. Its not difficult it just takes dedication.
